memory usage

{"text":"I use a Samsung S9 tablet on my dash,  why does TRUCKER PATH use so much memory?  While using it other apps like YouTube sound app choppy and run sluggish, streaming music or a podcast it skips and sounds choppy in general, even if using only trucker path the navigation voice is choppy sometimes, it will kind of freeze for a second then catch up sometimes, if I don't use a certain USB cable in the correct spot in the USB port in the power outlet then my tablet will actually loose charge, sometimes the tablet will switch to power saving mode because it says that trucker path is using so much memory the tablet is running hot and overheating. This ONLY happens while using trucker path, no other apps do that,  even if running only trucker path, I may have to uninstall and get a new Garmin like I planned originally","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}

But this probably isn’t going to help you at all, but what I normally do is have trucker path on my phone, get the address off the app, and then pop it into my tablet (I use my tablet for navigation, it hasn’t let me down yet, and I’m very cautious while using it, different topic matter any way).","replyToPid":0}

Mine is set to only allow location and only when the app is running.\n\nYou can also try turning on data saver for Trucker Path. That will throttle its memory usage somewhat."}
