{"text":"How realistic is it to get 2k-2,500 a week at prices over $1.60 a mile? I be trying but keep falling a little short of the 2k. so far I haven't hauled anything under $1.60 a mile. what be throwing off my calculations is these 300-500 mile loads that can be done in one day, but requires next day delivery, slowing up booking a same day load once I drop off. driving 1k-2k miles on one trip is a waste of time in my mind. They be wanting those type of loads delivered in 3-4 days, with low prices. After fuel expenses on a trip that long, it adds up to the same amount you'll get taking a 600-700 mile trip with next day delivery. I use load boards to get my loads. I feel like I'm looking at this trucking thing wrong. .","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false} |
