{"replyTo":"","text":"I pull a flatbed and it's still amazes me how many guys show up at places in flip-flops and in fact they don't even own a pair of steel-toed safety shoes or a hard hat or any PPE. couple of weeks ago I was at a mine and the guy got angry because they turned him away because he didn't have any PPE. This place is regulated by MSHA and they have very strict regulations for everything there. but it's not the only thing I've seen, to determine if I was at a weigh station in Oregon a couple weeks ago and the inspector pulled a guy aside that was  hauling lumber. the way strapped it was totally illegal and in fact was dangerous. he didn't tear strap it he only had five straps securing a 53' load.","replyToPid":0}

New balance all the way since I often have to climb on top of freight like a damned pirate. Lean and agile my man. I try to dress professional, clean clothes we have company shirts with our name logos on them, if not I like button up long sleeve Dickies shirts,  steel toe boots, long pants usually jeans or cargo pants. yep some of these guys think they're on the magic carpet Ride. {"replyTo":"","text":"I wouldn’t say I dress up but I definitely shower most days I wear a cap and because I drive flat bed I usually wear jeans and a tshirt with tennis shoes. I feel hygiene isn’t a top priority with some drivers but I absolutely have to freshen up every morning. Especially when I arrive at the drop off point!","replyToPid":0}
