{"replyTo":"","text":"I made $65k my rookie year with Transport America. Averaged $1575/week. Brought home $1,000. Now they're called TA Dedicated because they merged with their sister company, CFI, briefly. The parent company didn't like them, so they sold most of CFI to Heartland Express. They kept all the old Transport America folks though. You eont get rich there, but they have lots of happy drivers... I met several with 25+ years with them. Plus, I think they have some nice accounts out of Texas like Mercedes or Honda that get you home every weekend. Most of their positions have a guaranteed minimum so long as you meet the requirements every week, but Ive never known anyone not to get it if they at least tried. I got food poisoning once. Stuck at a truckstop for 2 days. Paid me anyway. Got Covid twice. They paid me $600/week while I was out. No short term disability. No paperwork. You're supposed to only get 1 day off for every 7 out, but once you prove yourself, you can stretch that.","replyToPid":0} |
