Was at orientation for a job yesterday. I was in there with a bunch of veteran drivers that had nothing good to say.

","text":"J.j. I’ve been out here for 28 years, back in the day it was nothing but good times. It’s not that way anymore. Todays truckers are getting screwed!! Some companies don’t offer detention. They also don’t pay you if you’re sitting in traffic for an hour to four hours sometimes going to grocery warehouses it takes you 3 to 4 hours to get unloaded and you don’t get paid for it the rate per mile does not equal to a decent salary? Nobody cares about other drivers anymore. We use to all have C.B.’s and look out for one  another. And most of all you’re separated from your family, and sometimes that can lead to depression and or divorce. ","replyToPid":475552}
