So everything had to be took by barge to the island. All the building materials and equipment. I would drive onto barge loaded and ride to island.  I did this for a week. on last days . Weather turned bad. Boat captain wanted me to leave my truck on island due to storm. I didn't want that. so they reluctantly loaded my truck. Trip back was little rough. I was so glad when barge docked
