{"text":"Can you replace the cetane in fuel?\n\ndon’t know a whole lot about engines. So this might be a weird question. When fuel freezes it loses the cetane. The cetane solidifies and separates into a wax. When I was fueling today it was trickling out at the pump so first I wondered if that was what happened. Then I wondered can you replace the cetane in the fuel for the missing stuff? I wonder if I have bad fuel now. I bought winterizer in bulk. $6 a bottle from Walmart if you buy a 12 ct case of 32 oz bottles online! $10 truck stop. Online Walmart is way cheaper. Not the store. It’s comparable. I don’t know if that replaces the cetane or just keeps it from freezing? We have had freezing temps way south already this year.
