I got my title to my truck I went to register the truck in Florida because this is where I live but I lease my truck to Landstar but Florida is telling me in order to register my truck here I have to take Landstar tag off and get a Florida tag . You just need to fill out the application for title and pay any applicable fees and sales taxes if any. Simply explain to them you are not registering the vehicle at this time.\n\nYou can run your own tag (FL in your case) at Landstar if you choose, but then you are responsible for state milage tracking and any audit of such that might come up. In my opinion that’s what you’re  paying Landstar for is things like that, so I run their plate.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"All you have to do is change the name on the title, that is correct. That way you are the owner. The registration allows the truck to be driven on the roadways, but Landstar has done that. No need to change that. ","replyToPid":444592}
