{"replyTo":" 1301419 发表于 2021-08-19 00:12:52 It used to be 12000 lbs on regular 12000 lb axle now that trucks are heavier because of def tanks and def filters they are letting you get away with close to 14000 that’s with regular tires you can get tires for steer that are rated at 14000 if you haul a lot of heavy loads and then there are axils that are rated at 14000 lbs but they usually have bigger tires on them ","text":"They’re not “letting you get away” with anything. Your equipment rating is what it is. The most common steer ratings are 12k, 12.5k, 13.2k all the way to 20k. Obviously a manufacturer is not going to sell mismatched rated tires and axles. Every state allows up to 20k on a single axle, so long as you’re not exceeding your manufacturers ratings. 99% of the time they won’t bat an eye at a truck with 13-14k on a steer axle. But there’s alway that overachiever out there that might come take a peak.","replyToPid":440742} |
