If you have a standard 5 axle dry or reefer van configuration, then the reference would be that 1 axle was over the 17,000 lbs. but the axle tandem as a group was under as your CAT ticket shows. (I’m guessing)\n\nFYI, future reference, the drive axle tandem has a 400 lbs. weight waiver allowance for trucks with APU’s installed. So, your weight could appear as: Steer-12,000, Drives-34,400, and Trailer-33,600. The waiver does not allow for over gross. Gross still at 80,000 lbs.
