At one time or another I’ve driven International and Freightliner as well. I’m more at home in a Peterbilt over the others. My current truck is a ‘19 I bought new. Redfire metallic. It’s my favorite I’ve ever had.

Drove it for awhile.  Then I got into peterbilts.  I drove a 359,362 Then finally a 377. I bought a freightliner classic.  Drove it for number of years. No I got a 18 Western Star. It's a Really nice Truck. 600hp detroit and 18spd. Full lockers in back. It's a heavy haul spec truck.  But of Them All. My absolute Favorite is my old Mack.  Wasn't the most powerful truck. Wasn't the most comfortable truck. But it was the most enjoyable to Drive.

In their fleet, they said the Freightliner has fewer problems overall than Peterbilt and Kenworth. In fact, there was a time when it was well known in our company that a particular Cummins engine model was having too many problems. Maybe it was a defect or a major recall. Who knows.\n\nThe other reason why I decided to go with a Freightliner is because it’s the most sold truck in the nation and the most popular among owner operators. There’s a higher chance that you’ll find common mechanical problems on YouTube and so you can replace them yourself. If your truck is rare like a Mack or Volvo, you might be out of luck and only find very few videos on YouTube. \n\nThink about this. What happened to the Kenworth T700 or the Peterbilt 587? They’re hardly on the road anymore."}

However, the Kenworth T700 and Peterbilt 587 are hardly old trucks yet they’re hard to find today. That’s the difference.\n\nThe Freightliner is the most common truck used by o/o according to OOIDA."}
