{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"So I called the Texas IFTA department and the lady there said it was okay to just drive back from another state to TX without an IFTA trip permit as long as I did not haul a load. Personally I think it could be required because for the IFTA tax it shouldn’t matter if you’re loaded or not. In a way, though, I would still be paying fuel taxes as I purchase fuel on my way to TX, it’s just that the fuel taxes would not be distributed correctly between the traveled states. Big deal, right? Hahaha. I’m rolling at night and this weekend and avoiding weigh stations as much as possible. I think I can pull it off. "} |
