{"replyTo":"","text":"Just for the MC# is $300, but there’s more to it than just getting the #. 30-45 days after you pay and do UCR you’ll have the numbers, but to be active you have to show proof of state minimum insurance coverage, file with IRS for your EIN, registration for the state and state taxes, workers comp etc. many states also require a registered agent to get the paperwork while you’re otr. Call around for insurance rates and make sure you ask if they provide surety bonds as well-some brokers require it. Register w/ state of NM online to get the lower rates per mile cost if you plan on running west, pay OR for their $1200 annual permit-it’s way cheaper than per trip unless you don’t run the NW, register for KYU number to run through KY and get your NYHUT permit all done at the same time. Save your $$ paying someone else to do it for you! Feel free to message me if you have questions ","replyToPid":426898} |
