My safety department tells me it will not be on my driving record as far as insurance is concerned, but other companies as well as the company I work for will always “see it”. \nWhat does this mean?\nI already thought about changing companies due to reasons I will not get into here.\nAm I stuck where I’m at for how long? Forever? A year? I have hazmat, tanker, and doubles/triples Endorsements. Approximately 160 hours team driving with a “trainer”. {"replyTo":"","text":"It's a preventable, not to big of a deal. but I would stay there especially if your in training, you will most likely have to start your training over from the beginning again if you leave. I would stick it out for atleast 6 months to a year. Get that experience. The first year is usually the roughest then it gets better for sure. Thats your best bet.","replyToPid":0}

But it will be reported on your DAC report as a preventable accident. You’re entitled to one free copy per year of your report ( hireright.com ). 1 incident is not a death sentence but will shrink your potential employer pool. But most likely recorded within the company that might present that nomatter how long you stick with the company if and when you try to find work elsewhere. But that is 100% on the company policy and rules. So request to know if you look for work later on if the company will report that or not? That is the only way to know but most company’s wouldn’t care in hiring since they care more about can they send you home and can you do the job as in have minimum driving experience that they request. Every company is different but at end of the day every company isn’t ideal 100% so it’s finding a balance that works best for you that is livable to do. I have driven every single mile of interstate minus 200 miles and I count both ways. Have 5+ years OTR experience and has worked for  7 different company’s. So I have a little experience in Job hoping granted I’ve stuck with refrigerated to dry vans. ","replyToPid":0}
