{"replyTo":"","text":"I would suggest to have 10000 at the least and 20000 would be better to start, and that is after the equipment purchase...first months fuel....tires.....repairs etc...insurance for one year for me is 15250. Tires should go between 175000and 200000 if properly taken care of. Fuel card is great, look into different options. Maybe look at Landstar or Mercer to be a lease owner operator....at first it is a lot of sleepless nights worrying. \nJust be sure to do your due diligence and research, you can do it but it does require a lot of head scratching. Colorado is expensive to get title and tags...mine on a 2016 Peterbilt 389 was 7250.","replyToPid":0}

450683 发表于 2020-10-21 02:06:57 Find what you like rather its Flat, Tank, Car Hauling, Reefer or Dry Van. Wait till after the election once you find what works for you go for it. If you listen to these people that say don't buy one you will never buy a truck just cause they had bad luck doesn't mean you will.
","text":"Yes I lease. Quickest unless you have $80k+ spare cash laying around. Plus you can get newer/less miles. Start-up 💰is biggest expense. Ind contract carrier is the way of the future in this industry imo","replyToPid":403926}

","text":"Buy the truck in your personal name fill out exemption form which you can get online & lease to a company. I live in Wyoming this saved me from having to pay sales tax on truck purchase which would have been several thousand $$. Good luck","replyToPid":404805}
