{"replyTo":"","text":"Benefits: health insurance, workman's comp, unemployment.\nLoads: yes, you can book loads, but you will be spend time chasing loads. it isn't fish in the barrel.\nDOT: with your own authority you have files to maintain. safety, maintenance, ifta, permits, drug screening, and etc. you will be a new entrant. you will have a DOT on-site inspection of you files and logs every 6 month for a year and a half if my memory is right. any lapse restarts the year and a half.\n\nRunning your own authority is rough.
