I talked to a broker that is a friend of mine and he had said that brokers with contracts with companies have not changed their rates with them but are just pocketing more money for their self. 723808 发表于 2020-05-07 14:24:12 That's not the bad news, over 1/3 of owner operators will go under this year if not more.  The bottomline we had too many trucks on the roads before this pandemic ever occurred driving down markets.  Too many drivers blame it on the brokers, although you do have your bad ones but they're just trying to stay afloat along with the rest of us.  Fortunately, I planned for a down turn driving a paid off truck with money in the bank n that's the only way to roll in this economy!

Why would anyone that wants to own their own truck and make their own money include in their plans working for another person (s), in this case a broker or brokerage?
