It saved lives, it brought truckers closer together as a community, it helped out on a breakdown, gave us up to the minute info on road conditions, accidents, etc. \n\nBut then it became a negative thing, just a place where the ones with the biggest mouth (boosters) rules the roost. The regular, everyday drivers just gave up. Sad day. \n\nBut y’all have your iPhones and Garmins. ","text":"Yeah it's sad all I hear is burps or I ain't got no pannies on, or c.b. rambos who will kick anybody's ašš at the next off ramp. 300-400 miles sometimes before I get a comeback. I see the whips and mic cords dangling.\nAny way keep the shiny side up the dirty side down keep it between the ditches, don't forget to  kiss your good woman when you get home, I hope you get your 7s and 3s and all them good numbers you have  a good day and a better day tomorrow. 500031 发表于 2020-04-27 02:44:49 sure 95% of the time it's irrelevant but that 5% when it matters... it REALLY matters. even if it's only 1% \nAnd for the record, almost nothing i hear on there is garbage. it's usually just silent.\n\nSeveral times I've tried to tell someone (one of you maybe? ) they have a light out or are dragging a strap but they have no CB or it's turned off.\n\nSeveral times I've been alerted to a danger ahead & hence, stayed out of trouble.\n\nsometimes it's good for on yhe fly re-routing for traffic or closures etc.\n\nAnd so much more. Y'all are missing out. But i guess if you're omnipotent then you don't need no CB radio.
