The Dotard had quite a bit of time between first learning of Covid19 and the first reported case in the US, yet did nothing for over a month. In fact, he even praised China for their transparency, a fact he later denied. Also, it wasn’t Drumpfs’ tiny hand guiding the US response, it was the governors who issued stay at home orders. The stay at home orders are also vastly responsible for the reason why there are not tens of thousands more deaths than initially projected. Lastly, Obama did not have the advantage of having a national pandemic response team set up prior to 2009 to help them through the pandemic. Ttump could have had that in his favor, but he decided to dismantle it in 2018. The orange menace initial WH staff even went through a pandemic response simulation with Obama’s staff before his inauguration as Presidunce.
