{"text":"It really does seem like loads are being passed through multiple brokers/many hands before actually landing on our board. Especially now, you'd think loads would pay AT LEAST $2.00 a mile. But now, everything is sub $1.50 and after fuel and whatnot, we're left with sub $1.00. Are these brokers all getting a piece of our pie without even being the one to give it to us? What tf is going on??","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Real cost of truck trailer and driver for the driver to make $1k per week on 2500 miles is $1.44-$1.54 any way you slice it. That’s with cheap insurance and diesel. That’s the cost per running mile, therefore the price per loaded mile must be higher by the same percentage as you bounce. If your cost is $1.50 per mile and you are empty 25% of your total miles, then your break even rate is $1.50+25%\nAnything less than that figure means PARK IT. Cancel your insurance and wait till you can make money. Welders are making $1800-3500 per week. Chicken splatter welders $18-25 per hour ","replyToPid":0}
