{"replyTo":"","text":"I agree it should be added, only for the students that show the aptitude. The top 2%. It’s being taught by companies that can send them out with an experienced driver after their training period for 1week no longer than 2 weeks. Upon returning the trainee is required to take one last written and driving test. \n\nIf a private school offers the training, they’ll have to find a company that’s willing to allow the students an internship with possibility of potential employment. \n\nIf a company offers the training they would need to keep records of the students they sent through the same kind of training and issue them a certification card like the DOT physical card. \n\nThese new drivers out on the road, drive these trucks like their POV 90 mph, passing and nearly taking your bumper and fender off. Flying through the parking lot of the truck stop. I seen a truck almost hit a young girl. It was the grace of God he didn’t. \n\nAll of us started at the beginning and was given a chance. In other words we were all trainees at one time. So let’s not fault the new trainees. \n\nInstead let’s instill in them the pride we had/have in the career. That’s the problem with today’s drivers. \nNO PRIDE!! Just look at how they are dressing these days. Our new drivers need to be motivated and learn to respect, themselves and the job they do.
