","text":"they definitely have the longest \"training\" but that is only in order to squeeze every dollar out of the govt and to maximize how long they can exploit the student driver at a lower wage. they are at best on par with similar companies. I wasn't trained at Steven's but am very familiar with everything they are about. removing Jake brake and sending a student team to Oregon is not my idea of the best safety practices. they dont adequately prepare anyone. and if the amount of Steven's driver still trying to perform u-turns on 2lane rds in western kansas is any indication they haven't taught ppl a thing.","replyToPid":312879}

","text":"the fact that Steven's tells them that they cant go home. that the way they are treated is the industry standard and most of all, if they leave the company they will have to pay thousands of dollars to Steven's to pay back their training. if you dont get miles they routinely encourage you to lease a truck and make you a \"owner\". so you'll make more money. they starve you out so you  don't have any money in your bank to leave anyways. talk to the drivers guaranteed you wont find a one with over a yr exp. but if you love sitting in western kansas in the meat patch waiting for days uncompensated for a load. than this by far is your company. dont worry the office employees are safe behind locked doors. which as anyone knows is never a sign of a fair company","replyToPid":313342}
