Driver Looking for a Ride

I'm a truck driver and I met a 66 yr old man at a truck stop who had been thrown out by his co-driver in North Carolina with no money or way to call anyone. He's trying to make his way home to Colorado. We're close to Hwy 64 and 41 in southern IN. There's a Love's, Pilot and Flying J on 41 near Haubstadt. We were just trying to see if there's anyone near us who is heading any direction West on 64. We've put him up for the night. Fed him, etc. He just really needs help. I'm kinda glad I'm the other way. those types of requests make me uncomfortable. sometimes I feel like it's my personal test. like I should be shouting: who sent you?!? Once after I posted all over about my veteran grandmother needing proper care, a man waved me down at a company fuel stop and showed me his tattoos and said he was a vet and asked me for money.  its creepy.","replyToPid":0}
