","text":"That is no joke.  I used to haul drilling pipe in the DJ basin.  Always figured there was a Sean kabob around every corner.  One time I had a load of 2 3/8” and rolled up on a parking lot in Amarillo. Had plenty of room to stop until three cars decided they needed to be in front of me at the last second.  Did a really hard brake and my pipe only shifted 6” forward.  Thankfully, Colorado allows you 36k on your drivers and tandems.  Otherwise I would have had to reload.  Broke 2 straps tho. Still mad about that.  They were my favorites.","replyToPid":308129}

","text":"I agree with you, lot of drivers especially 4 wheerls brake when they spot a radar, even though they are well within speed limit. Strap or chains never hold the steel, if you brake hard it will land right on your cab (there are so many videos on YouTube)","replyToPid":308451}
