{"replyTo":"","text":"I trained with Werner in 2002/2003, pay sucked. As soon as I hit 365 days driving, I left. They had a poster that said \"The grass isn't always greener on the other side\". Well, looking at my W-2s over the last 16 years, IT SURE IS! Sadly, the brother of a friend of mine worked for Werner for 8-ish years. They worked him for low pay and hardly got him home. When he got sick, they gave him a hard time about getting him home. When he did go home, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He began chemo, but Werner gave him a hard time getting him home for chemo and other treatments, so he missed several. He died about a year later from it.\n\nPoint is, your first year will be crap. Whether it's Roehl or Werner or whomever, if you can endure your first 365 days, jump ship and get a better-paying position at that time. Don't stay with them.","replyToPid":0} |
