{"replyTo":"","text":"can't plan trucking, it never works. I bought my truck first. then filed my LLC, and found a company. that was not my plan. the truck just fell in my lap. I had picked a company. in between getting everything set up. that changed also. the order will happen how it was meant to happen. I would really look into what your operation cost are going to be. your cost per mile. now that cost will change from run to run. but you should have an idea before you start. OOIDA has a good cheat sheet to give you a general idea. that way your not running for free. had a friend of mine come out here ran for 5 months. the truck needed some maintenance. he couldn't cover the bill. so, had to go back as a company driver.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Honestly with costs that won’t stop rising and rates are low it’s best to stay a company driver now. \n\nI was o/o for 7 years had 3 trucks. Sold my trucks 3 years ago. With benefits and bonuses I’m making more money now. Not to mention all the stress and headaches gone worrying about breakdowns. Even parked and someone hits you. Sure insurance will cover repairs it’s the down time that hurts your pockets because you pay for everything hotel food truck payments and insurance yet nothing coming in. \n\nTo many people are going bankrupt these days.......","replyToPid":0}
