Everything change behind your steering wheel when you hit a ice rod, balance, speed, way to shift, turns, everything change, so my best piece of advice is get at less two year experience as a regular truck driver, dry van, referred , car hauler what ever, then you need to travel way up north as much you can, by Canadian border, there u will find truck companies working on winter season, they will training you, if you’re the right one, don’t get me wrong please, ice road trucker, is a different world, so is not for everybody else, you have to love it, couse  you’ll straggle whit a bunch different things. I am sure you’ll be a good one for that and by the end you’ll love it. May God Ride whit you, good look and 10-4💪🇺🇸💪
