{"text":"I am undecided on if I want a dd15 or a dd16 I currently don't haul real heavy loads mostly combined gvwr is around 55-70k the reason I'm thinking about running a dd16 is because I am a firm believer it's better to have had it and not use it than to not have it and need it. \nmy thoughts are with a lighter load the dd16 should barely break a sweat. those possibly reducing the amount of fuel needed to operate the same speed as a dd15. looking out the torque curves it appears that at 1400 RPMs I would be sitting around 1900 foot pounds of torque with the dd16 versus only around 1500 at the same rpm with a DD15 I do have a knee that has been giving me trouble lately so I'm also considering going to an Auto. what engine tranny and gear ratios would you run. I live in Colorado so the mountains are all around me and I run all over the country. but I still want to get decent fuel economy. 852662 发表于 2019-12-19 06:12:17 yes, I'm not worried about my right foot and the skinny pedal. I want a truck that is diverse but still gets decent economy that's why I don't want to run a dd13 turned way up. I was thinking the dd16 would make the truck a little more diverse if I choose to haul heavier freight later on. I'm currently pulling an enclosed car trlr and can only manage a little over 6mpg in a kw with a mx-13 10spd. God I hate this truck.
