But they had to build it cheap to make it attractive for large carriers. And oh, boy, are they rattle trap garbage. If your company tries to stick you with one, run fast. They look beautiful to me as they retain the design aesthetic of a 90’s luxury sedan with their rounded curves and pronounced lines, but the engineering, or shall I say lack thereof, is non existent. {"replyTo":"","text":"Let's see, at 200k miles, my window button has broken off driver door. water literally leaks through the windshield and almost destroys any electronics including it's very own stereo... the pivoting light in the bunk literally broke and fell off while driving... it is impossible to turn off the sleeper fan [keeps turning back on] the cabinet doors have ejected the screws and now the plastic rattles all day long. I forgot to mention that, brand new, the p.steering reservoir leaked no matter how tight the clamps. And the boot right in front of the turbo had a metal band that wasnt tight enough and it squeaked everytime you hit the throttle. oh yeah, it leaks oil too","replyToPid":0}

{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"I tried a 2018. The assembly line forgot some plastic and rubber piece that sits between the hood and firewall. And they also forgot plastic pieces on the insides of the hood that connect to the stopping mounts and it squeaked loudly and constantly. I had to smear a combination of both 5th wheel grease and household oil on them and cover them with a pair of socks to quiet it down until they fixed it. Aaaand after them fixing it I still had to keep grease on them. And the mounting brackets that attach the bottom faring to the fuel tank and frame have metal against metal and use crude nuts/bolts so it squeaked randomly. It became routine to pull into a truck stop, stand on the steps, and give it a good jump to get it to get to stop for another few hundred miles. And I had to keep the fuse cover on the the passenger side of the dash removed exposing the fuses until I figured out how to place foam in the right place to quiet it down. And I had to remove the entire upper front interior and rebuild it with plastic screws and foam because it rattled like crazy. And I had to remove the wood grain trim from the dash and place foam underneath it as it, you guessed it, rattled. And the plastic that covers the gauges rattled so I had to remove that too. And both bunks are literally just two cheap slats of plywood. Not plastic. Plywood loosely shoved into metal brackets. The top bunk squeaked terribly for every little pebble on the road so I had to get creative since it’s fixed in place and the bolts are placed so you have to have special tools to get to them. And the anti glare on the flat mirrors started peeling after the first wash. And I had to place socks, yes socks, in several places inside the bunk to be able to sleep if idling on an icy night. And then there’s the electrical problems. Randomly I had to push in or out one or both of the air knobs to be able to roll down the passenger window. I’m sure I forgot something. Oh, and the trolly brake handle was cracked out of the factory and broke! Broke! I had to have one ordered. Wow. Just wow. There’s been a recall on these trucks almost monthly for two years and they’re still pieces of crap. "}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Oh yeah, and the indicator light on the mirror heat button that you know, tells the driver whether the mirror heat is On or Off, first became so dim you could only tell if it was on at night, then the mirror heat stopped working. It was fun having fogged up mirrors. ","replyToPid":0}
