{"replyTo":"","text":"Child support and alimony used for tax free supplemental income to keep women from trying to advance is caused by...  feminism.  Socialism is not welfare, welfare is not socialism.  The textbook definition of socialism is when the government owns the method of production.  Socialists like to use the programs are abysmal in performance as their \"this is awesome\" examples, such as public schools when private schools are thought to be much much better when the rich parents pay tons to send their kids there.  Maybe the awesome police force that struggles not to kill unarmed suspects (they are suspects until they are tried in court to be convicted).\n\nI think Rick Perry said it best when he called Social Security a ponzi scheme because, to the core, it is.  Many think that there is money allocated to the side just for them, but there isn't, never was, never will, was never planned that way. Social Security started by taxing those that had jobs to help immediately retire those of retirement age at the time (65), with the government only acting as a fund administrator, not as a coffer to fill and deplete.\n\nMore on this:\nhttps://www.ssa.gov/history/genrev.html","replyToPid":0}

","text":"yea the problem with that is you dont have enough tax payers to sustain it. you still need a workforce. that was the idea, there was suppose to be more workers then retirees. now there is more retirees than workers. they will have to increase the age limit to retire up to 70 or 90.","replyToPid":278507}
