{"replyTo":"","text":"I was just thinking that since you were asking people for advice on what you all might need to get in order to cook meals while OTR that it would sort of depend on what you wanted to eat. For instance if you like to cook steak, eggs, and the like, that you would most likely need some sort of griddle since it's a bit of a chore to fry in a slow cooker. Myself I rarely ever go back home and OTR for many months at a time and I like to cook grass-fed grass-finished meats, vegetables, and wild caught fish from Pacific Alaskan waters only. So I have both a slow cooker and an electric griddle|pan. About the only thing that I need to refrigerate is eggs, bacon, and the occasional left overs. So, since I eat 'high good-fat-nutrient-dense foods', I loose and maintain my weight and never get sick, not even a cold, and will never get the health issues that seem to plague so many drivers these days. The standard American diet WILL absolutely destroy your health in the long run.","replyToPid":0} |
