Officer.... and number two you are not allowed to drive until 12 hours have passed since your last drink of alcohol again don't believe me if drinking that crap is that important to you then you would go and check it out before you risk your career that follows your record.... and your livelihood we've had drivers that have been charged for having empty beer cans left in a garbage bag this is something the industry takes very seriously it's sort of like asking wall I wonder why I got charged for having my six pack in my backseat of my car oh that's right because the law states it must be in the trunk Out Of Reach or sight of the driver this leaves no question of integrity we are professional drivers even guys that are putting beer in their boot box to have it later when they get home is wrong I'm not going to change it but it ain't right","replyToPid":0}

","text":"being a commercial driver is being watched by everybody we are supposed to be professional drivers there are two laws out there number one no alcohol permitted in commercial vehicles our company had a driver caught with empty beer can in garbage bag and was charged that is separate to the fact that no commercial vehicle shall have alcohol in it this includes drivers who get cases of beer put it in their boot box to bring it home that is not allowed I ain't going to change the industry or obviously your opinion but go ahead and ask a police officer a. Officer or your company about it something tells me that's not going to happen, number two the law states you shall not operate a commercial vehicle before 12 hours have passed since your last drink of alcohol like I said don't take my word for it obviously if this is so important to you you're going to do it anyways or anybody else I guess for that matter","replyToPid":44663}

{"replyTo":"","text":".04 is the legal limit no matter what you are driving. \n If there is a company decal the vehicle you can't even transport alcohol in the cap of said vehicle. if you put it in the back it has to be in a locked trunk, topper or trailer. \n .04 is only 1 beer. If you get a dui, you loose your cdl for I believe a minimum of 4 years.\n If they smell alcohol on your breath and you blow less than a .04, they can't give you a dui but they will park you for another 24hr.\nI'm not a 100% sure of the 24hrs it might be at the discretion of the cop.
