What to look for

{"replyTo":"","text":"You can get a lot of miles out of an engine. I run full synthetic in a pre emission Detroit series 60 and have 1.4 million miles on it with no sign of stopping. The way you can tell your engine is worn out is by oil consumption. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise unless something obviously broke internally. 1 gallon oil consumption per 10k miles is good. 1 gallon oil consumption per 3k miles and its time to schedule an in frame.
