{"text":"I have a friend buying his first truck.He has found a Great starter truck that is priced right and in really good condition, 14L Det. It has a ddirect 10spd with a 264 rear axle ratio. \n\nNow, I have owned many trucks in the last 20 yrs, but have no experience with this axle ratio. Everything I have owned or currently own has been geared from 3.42 to 3.90. I assume the final gear in the transmission is lower than normal to offset this type rear end ratio??? Anyone have any experience, thoughts, advice on a 264 rear ratio ??\n\nI did some research online, and found that most of the older Walmart trucks were setup this way. \n\nAdvice ???","pics":"[]","canComment":true}
