I pick up and deliver places you big dogs can’t fit. That’s the point. I’m away from my family, eating lousy food, sleeping in parking lots, driving through all kinds of weather just like you. While I don’t and have not made my living with an $80000 pickup hooked to a $15000 trailer, I know people who have them in their fleet and they are in the same industry, facing the same regs and are required to carry classA cdls. I don’t get cut off by them, disrespected, or treated badly when they park next to me. I’ll ride with a hotshot over Swift or any other driver mill company any day. ","replyToPid":240544}

No CDL, but still: \n\nIt’s a commercial truck \nWe get pulled over by DOT (who rarely know how to inspect us) \nWe have to go through scales and we are chased if we fail to enter one\nWe are almost the same length and Semi truck\nWe follow the truck routes\nWe get charged if we drive on “no trucks” zones\nETC....\n\nWe are same. The only difference is the size. \n\nAnd I would add that I see on truck stops, that those who are trained for CDL and have it, are sometimes hardly can back their truck. Sometimes it takes up to 30 minutes to wait for a semi truck to back their trailer. 😂","replyToPid":0}
