{"replyTo":"","text":"DOT told me you cannot use PC to get a load. If you are dispatched for a load you have to use hours. Also if you are, for example, I delivered in Vegas and had to get to Cali to do my reset so I could be ready for my next load, even though I wasnt under a load or dispatched yet, I had to use my hours to go to cali because i was setting myself up for next load. He told me once i was in cali and needed to go get food or store or site see i could again use PC as long as i wasnt going to my load. He also said that once under a load, the PC is for emergency use basically to get to safe parking if you run out of hours or to get food while on your break. That is the only exception. They are cracking down harder on PC use. Again, as with all the regulations, they are interpreted differently by each officer, so be careful. Some officers are cool, others have a bad day everyday.
