","text":"Man.  HammerBrain.\n\nThis is a low level concern that can be accomplished to making the trucking atmosphere so much more better for all of us collectively.\n\nA man must realize that if they want to still use the restraining belt they will have that option and choice.\n\nI am only seeking to make it an option without being fined hundreds of dollars or being penalized for not wearing it.\n\nI pray my fellow truckers will bring up this simple no cost concern to their respective unions and lobbyists in the industry and see the reaction and responses.  \n\nAlmost all truckers would agree to the choice of using it or not.\n\nTo all those who understand the importance of making simple changes that will bring us comfort - I thank you.\n\nI hope to see this get some traction that these belts may be taken away from our necks and throats and shoulders and belly bottom and abdomens.\n\nSeatbelts on air ride seats are frustratingly annoying.   Let's awaken from the mindset that it makes us safer, for it truly does not.  \n\nGOOD SPEED GENTLEMEN. \n\nGOOD GUIDANCE!","replyToPid":228943}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I have been driving for over 25 years on all sorts of third world country roads with real potholes and lumps and bumps and major hair pin bends and steep downhill corners.\n\nAll of this was without using seatbelts any at all.  It is not a law where I am from.\n\nThen I came to America with well lit, properly paved roadways, wide and well marked with posted speed limits and excellent signs and warnings on exit and entrance ramps. \n\nThere is no bouncing around and losing control of the truck Chicken.  \n\nAlcohol is responsible for killing innocent people on the road and even then seatbelts don't save them. \n\nDon't be tricked by those who do not know better.  They only seek to brainwash us into believing false hogwash about seatbelt safety for truckers. \n\nNext time you see a police officer speed by, look carefully and see that he is not harnessed to his seat like they have mandated for us civilians. \n\nPeace Chicken.
