","text":"If you think you can put 5000 gallons of fuel in the nose of the tanker in front of the landing gear then you are the swift driver.. The tanker is 48 foot long and hauls 9000 gallons of fuel, divide 9000 by 48×7.1 pounds per gallon times the length from the landing gear to the nose and you will easily see it’s not possible for this to happen. Let me help you, that’s about 1331 pounds per foot With lets just say about 10 foot of tanker in front of the landing gear which is going to give you about 13,000 pounds. Do you have any idea how much your rear tandem weighs.. I know you Swift drivers usually don’t scale or have any ideal about weights on your trucks but before calling someone else a swift driver at least research"}

","text":"You would think so, and some fuel tanker manufacturers do think of this. When I hauled fuel out of Nashville, one of our tankers tipped over like this though. The front compartment as full and the others were empty. ","replyToPid":222340}
