BUT if your gonna carry you've gotta make sure your home states license to carry is recognized in every state you travel through. if not I wouldn't. if Jersey doesn't recognize it they'll arrest you and try to give you life in prison like they did that woman years ago that the NRA had to put their full legal team on to get out of jail. {"replyTo":"","text":"you can carry but you have to do something different between each state. some allow you to carry open and others allow you to keep in a lock box and some will make you carry empty and gun and ammo have to be in separate lock boxes. plus your work alos has a say if they want drivers carrying. my work say no.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Well I’m a swift driver (for now) and I highly doubt it’d be that way. Especially if they’re good drivers like myself. I was raised on a farm and had to drive with goosenecks and what not so that helped before I came here. I just came to swift to get started 🤷🏾‍♂️ ","replyToPid":212795}

But, places like \nNew York  you might wanna leave your gun home.  some states don't allow it at all . unless you keep it underneath your bed and nobody ever check your truck . \njust remember if you are caught with gun in semi in state that don't allow it , you will lose your liscence for at least 1 year . you might be able to reapply it under certain circumstances.","replyToPid":0}

And , the lawsuits goes against the company not the driver. If the drivers were solely responsible for their own action with the gun while driving company truck in a court of law then , may be company will be ok for drivers to carry whatever gun they like to carry. \nbut unfortunately lawsuits always goes for the bigger fish and that's why most of the companies don't allow gun carry to their drivers because there always will be a one guy who will pull out his gun on even a small incident like road rage .","replyToPid":0}

","text":"It really is. But it’s true. It’s a company policy that stops you from carrying and it’s not just swift just about all companies out there have a policy against it because of all the bs laws for each state. ","replyToPid":212902}
