update on MAY TRUCKING

{"text":"I was told no less than twice between thursday and friday by separate people that due to what may was ruling as a preventable accident, and I intend to dispute, I was still in a secure job and all I had to do was undergo a safety review and I'd be cleared to drive again. TURNS OUT THEY FLAT OUT LIED TO ME!!!\n\nThe accident in question involved no other vehicles, did not result in a rollover, or any serious damage to the truck or any damage at all to the load, and I took it with a serious readjustment of everything I was doing to influence the situation BUT YOU CANT CONTROL THE WIND!! I got tipped by a wind gust, and had to fight to prevent a rollover!\n\nI get to my \"safety review\" meeting this morning and I'm suddenly told \"hey, we changed our minds. you're no longer employed\"\n\nWTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO FROM HERE? \n\nThey also lied to me in the recruiting stage when they told me that their trucks are governed at 68 miles an hour. that's a joke. \n\nI dont intend to work for this company again, and dont reccomend that anyone look at this as a serious job offer either. {"replyTo":"","text":"our trucks are governed to 63.  but down hill with a load could do every bit of 85 if you let it get out of control.  I pass May trucks all the time so they are usually all under 63.   wind strong enough to tip you is 100% your fault.  if you are too fast for conditions and or allowed loader to load you unbalanced. that is 100% on you.  you let over confidence lead your inexperience and did not drive safe/professional. hence maybe you should try uber eats/ Dominos pizza or being a local currier in your area.","replyToPid":0}
