{"replyTo":"","text":"Plenty of the basic necessities. Plenty of cash but don’t carry it on your person. Plenty of food, water, warm clothes, blankets, etc. Always carry at least some tools. You never know when they can get you out of a pinch. Always keep extra coolant, oil, hose clamps and a variety of hoses if possible. Extra fuel and oil filters. Winter is coming so some fuel treatment would be good to carry as well. Tire repair kit. An air hose long enough to reach any tire position from you glad hands in case of a low/flat tire in the middle of nowhere. A CB! THAT IS A MUST IN MY OPINION! And make sure to turn it on! Listen. Communicate. Plus at least that way of you break down in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service, you can still communicate with other drivers to make a call for you. I know many companies have Qualcomm’s now and you can communicate that way too, but I’m old school like that. Lol. Too many drivers don’t put CB’s in their trucks anymore. A lot of stuff you will accumulate over time. Trust me. Lol. I have way more cräp in this truck than I know what to do with. LOL! Good luck to you and welcome to it! ","replyToPid":0}

A socket set, hammer (3lb sledge), multi-bit screwdriver, pliers, vice grips, electrical tape, duct tape, pocket/razor knife.\n\nIf you can acquire a thermal sleeping bag, that’s always good to have.
