Curious why guys run their lights during the day

{"replyTo":"","text":"I’ve noticed while running during the day with my lights on, the motoring public seems to subconsciously be more aware of my presence and act a little safer around me and have less of of a tendency to cut me off. It’s a psychological thing that I think most people don’t realize while they’re doing it, but I’ll take it. Anything to be safer. Although be aware that if you do choose to run your lights during daylight, always do a quick walk around every time you stop and make sure they all still work before taking off again. {"replyTo":"","text":"i think its dumb ; dont care one way or the other hut on top of that they are so self righteous about their fake safety that they high beam me for jot having my lights onnnnnnn !  i dont run headlights in day; i throw on head lights, and fog lights in crazy snow or tornado like down pour of rain if it day , and in the evening i like to run my clearance and parking lights without head lights till i damn well feel like it! ! i dont need a fake safety guy high beaming me to tell me i need head lights !   !  i put my head lights on , at the right amount of darkness i see fit! !
