While participating, it’s important to keep in mind this value above all others: show enough respect to others so that we all may continue to enjoy Trucker Path Forum for what it is.\n\nHow it all works\nUsers are here to share stories, ideas, tips, questions,  experience and simply just connect\nUsers post to communities, also known as subforums.\nOther users vote and reply on those posts.\nBased on those votes, the best posts rise to the top for all to enjoy.\n\nThe following rules apply everywhere on the Trucker Path Community Forum\n\nNo Flaming or Trolling\nAll members must be treated in a respectful and mature manner even those who don't deserve it. Do not create any messages that harass, insult, threaten, or with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. Posts that disrupt the peace and harmony of this forum are not permitted.\n\nNo Spamming\nDo not re-post, double post, cross-post, or reply the same message in multiple threads or forums.  Do not post for the sake of increasing your post count or collecting points. Smiley or character abuse are also treated as spam. \n\nNo Flooding\nDo not post consecutively in the same thread for a short period of time. Edit your post if you would like to add something.\n\nNo Inappropriate Language\nObscene, profane or bad words are prohibited. Refrain from using text speak to prevent misunderstanding among members. \n\nNo Offensive Material\nDo not post messages that are racist, sexist, slanderous, discriminatory, or containing extreme violence, adult materials, and mature content.\n\nNo Illegal Activity\nDo not engage in activities that cheat, endanger or abuse the system and users of this site.\n\nNo Inappropriate Link\nPosting links primarily for promotion or advertisement is not allowed. When sharing information, post the actual details and not the link that redirects to another site. Messages with torrents, referral or affiliate link, and link to other sites with similar service to our forum are not allowed to be posted anywhere.\n\nIn regards to Posting\nAdhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life.\n\nModerate based on quality, not opinion. Well written and interesting content can be worthwhile, even if you disagree with it.\n\nUse proper grammar and spelling. Be open to gentle corrections.\n\nKeep your submission titles factual and opinion free. If it is an outrageous topic, share your crazy outrage in the comment section.\n\nPost to the most appropriate community subforum possible. Also, consider cross posting if the contents fits more communities.\n\nVote. If you think something contributes to conversation, upvote it. If you think it does not contribute to the subreddit it is posted in or is off-topic in a particular community, downvote it.\n\nConsider posting constructive criticism / an explanation when you downvote something, and do so carefully and tactfully.\n\nReport a user with an awful behavior who causing harm to others\n\nRead over your submission for mistakes before submitting, especially the title of the submission. Comments and the content of self posts can be edited after being submitted, however, the title of a post can't be. Make sure the facts you provide are accurate to avoid any confusion down the line.\n\n\nPlease don’t\nBe (intentionally) rude at all. By choosing not to be rude, you increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for all of us.\n\nAsk people to troll others, in real life, or on other blogs/sites. We aren't your personal army.\n\nConduct personal attacks on other commenters. Ad hominem and other distracting attacks do not add anything to the conversation.\n\nStart a flame war. Just report and \"walk away\". If you really feel you have to confront them, leave a polite message with a quote or link to the rules, and no more.\n\nInsult others. Insults do not contribute to a rational discussion. Constructive Criticism, however, is appropriate and encouraged.\n\nTroll. Trolling does not contribute to the conversation.\nTake moderation positions in a community where your profession, employment, or biases could pose a direct conflict of interest to the neutral and user driven nature of the forum.\n \nIn regards to voting\nDownvote an otherwise acceptable post because you don't personally like it. \n\nThink before you downvote and take a moment to ensure you're downvoting someone because they are not contributing to the community dialogue or discussion. If you simply take a moment to stop, think and examine your reasons for downvoting, rather than doing so out of an emotional reaction, you will ensure that your downvotes are given for good reasons.\n\nMass downvote someone else's posts. If it really is the content you have a problem with (as opposed to the person), by all means vote it down when you come upon it. But don't go out of your way to seek out an enemy's posts.\n\nUpvote or downvote based just on the person that posted it. Don't upvote or \ndownvote comments and posts just because the poster's username is familiar to you. Make your vote based on the content.\n\nReport posts just because you do not like them. You should only be using the report button if the post breaks the subreddit rules.\n\nIn regards to Reply/Comment\nCreate conversational replies that is related with the posts\n\nYou can reply on each posts which is best suited for your interest and just be mindful of the words you are using\n\nComplain about other users reposting/rehosting stories, images, videos, or any other content. Users should give credit where credit should be given, but if someone fails to do so, and is not causing harm, please either don't point it out, or point it out politely and leave it at that. \n\nComplain about reposts. Just because you have seen it before doesn't mean everyone has. Votes indicate the popularity of a post, so just vote. Keep in mind that linking to previous posts is not automatically a complaint; it is information.\n\nComplain about cross posts. Just because you saw it in one place, doesn't mean everyone has seen it.
