Oxidation on headlights

{"text":"How many people have this problem? \nI got a new to me truck 2015 Volvo. Great truck but the headlights and fog lights were all yellow and oxidation had set in so I looked up on YouTube about fixing this permanently. A lot of people try toothpaste and it works for about two weeks. This job I did I did today and will update this to let you know how long it works. Here’s what I did sanded the headlights with 400 800 and 1200 grit water sandpaper wet the headlights and sand paper sand then cleaned it with alcohol and lint free paper towels then clear coat with yellow resistant and UV protectant spray paint and looks really nice right now.
