Question regarding transport trucks and flashing their lights at you

{"text":"So, my pal is travelling across Canada in a U-haul with a girlfriend and two dogs and have noticed that within the last two provinces (Quebec and New Brunswick) almost every transport truck they have passed has flashed their lights at them. \n\nThe first couple of times he thought that something was wrong so he pulled over and checked lights, tires, etc, but nothing was wrong with the truck. \n\nIs this a friendly \"you can move into this lane\" thing or are they're doing something wrong in an unwritten \"rules of the road\" code?\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true}
