{"text":"Today was our fourth day here in Appleton and second day in the yard driving, all of which was done with a 53 foot trailer.\n\nThis morning we started like all days, with a pretrip inspection. After completing that we drove the truck to the straight back lane and each of us got to give it a few tries. I won’t lie I was the worst in our group of four to do it and felt defeated and piss poor about myself. I did not hit anything but I was the one one the instructor had to come over and walk through fixing the truck to get it to clear the cones.\n\nAfter that we had a break and then went out to the range and learned about turns. And then we all drove the lot doing left hand turns. After that we had lunch and then when we came back we did right hand turns around the lot.\nI won’t lie, I’m it getting turns since we are on gravel and no lanes to be turning in but I made my turns without hitting anything and the instructor said he was impressed with my shifting and how it improved.\n\nThere is lots to learn for sure and it’s hard to believe we are at the end of week one almost. Tomorrow we are going to the industrial complex where we have more room and can drive faster.\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
