{"text":"I asked a Walmart manager about this. They also have a program to chase away RVs that have parked at Walmart forever. The answer is twofold.\n\nOnce upon a time, Walmart built their own stores and owned their parking lots. Their business model is now to be tenants on other’s property. The entire parking lot is now shared among the other tenants. It’s they, not Walmart that object to the parking.\n\nAnd guess what else, liability. By allowing parking in their lots, Walmart is implicitly providing a secure space, and they can’t/don’t provide security on their property. If someone was hurt, robbed, or raped, Walmart would share in the liability. Welcome to the 21st century, the age of litigation.\n\nPlan “B”, join the Elks or the Moose. They all have parking and the bars are open at night.\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
