{"replyTo":"","text":"very nice young man.\nbut when he spoke of freedom on the road and accountability.\nI had to laugh.\n1983 seasoned veteran.\nyour log book is no longer yours.\naccountability is the satellite tracking your truck your cell phone and everything else attracts you all the cameras along the way.\nyoung man had a great attitude they're just so many drivers out here that have no idea what it used to be like.\nyou have so many companies folding up way too many equipment setting.\nand a very soft market meaning freight rates.\nI had an old-timer tell me years ago if fuel is $2.50 a mile whatever you're hauling better be $2.50 a mile cuz if it ain't you'll eventually go broke.\nhow true.\nI'm not saying the good old days were the best or the new days are the best I've seen vast changes in the industry if you even want to call it a trucking industry .\nhave a saying in the military I'm short meaning in time service.\nI've known quite a few truck drivers drop dead of heart attacks were friends of mine.\nI'm short if I make it.\nif one of these crackerbox CDL drivers don't get me.\nI get more courtesy out of a four-wheeler than you do a truck driver anymore.\nI don't comment much but when I do I guess I go overboard.\nkeep the outstanding attitude cuz Daddy attitude is 99.99 percent of everything","replyToPid":0}
