Why do people look down on trucking?

{"replyTo":"","text":"to be honest I used to be the same way I was a teacher for the last 10 years and barely making ends meet because I haven't finished my degree so the jobs and pay I could take were limited. I've had my cdl for 6 years now. I got to thinking why dont I use it for something I need a job with purpose and teaching gave me that but didnt pay the Bill's. Everything we touch or use on a daily basis was brought on a truck so once I began to see the obvious purpose I rethought my view and now I'm out here and loving every minute of it! 18 new states in just a month of OTR!","replyToPid":0}
