{"replyTo":"","text":"Driven dry vans, containers, and reefers.  Not interested in flatbed.\nNot for me sitting around 8 hours waiting for an equipment operator /foreman to get around to me.  \n\nNo significant difference between the three I’ve pulled, except OTR reefer pays better.\n\nOf course, it helps to pull for a good company- one that’s not afraid to tell cheap cargo to go spit..and doesn’t try to dispatch you at 90mph.\n\nIt’s not so much what you haul, but whom you haul it for.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"seems like you're confused because not only do I get great cents per mile I get money for every dark eye bump I get detention pay if they hold me up if I unload it myself I get paid for every palate I touch I get paid for every package that I touch when I break down the pallet I bring home more money than most people so I got nothing to complain about and the only people up there flapping their tarps are the sissies flatbed haulers","replyToPid":34878}

Go drive a reefer and do food delivery service restaurant to restaurant?. \nOr bump docks at warehouses? \nFood service pays really good but you work your *** off and most are union so you have a seniority chain to follow for good routes. \nBumping docks with a reefer OTR in my experience sucks ass! Shippers and receivers don’t care about your time and will keep you there hours on end. Better have a good detention pay scale. I would stay as far away from otr reefers as possible, but that’s just my experience. \nI have about 2 years OTR reefer and 3 years Sysco food service. \nBoth were pretty rough for different reasons.
